I am afraid of an alcoholic family member. My brother’s engagement party is
this weekend at our house, and I really wish she wouldn’t be there, although
she obviously will. I’m tired of her anger and outbursts. I’m sick of her
drinking excessively and making an ass out of herself and embarassing the whole
family. I wish I could tell her to just fucking grow up already.

I think you have every right to take her aside and tell her to fucking grow up if she even starts to look like she’s going to mess up your brother’s party. Sometimes people need a little kick in the ass.
