There’s a book called “he’s just not that into you”… done by the writers of Sex and the City. If you google it, you can find part of it to read…basically if a guy likes you, he will usually initiate some sort of contact, ask you out, etc..etc…It’s a pretty good book about learning how to just let go of the power struggles that sometimes come with dating and just let things fall naturally in place. When a guy really likes you for you, and not just leading you on, you’ll know it.

#6, I’m not suggesting she go out and buy the book. I personally hate Sex and the City. And I’ve never personally read the book, but I have heard of it. My point was that you will usually be able to tell if a man likes you, just enjoy being single and if he likes you he will come around.

if he likes you no matter how shy he is, he will make sure to start something with you.
if he doesn’t its because:
1) he doesn’t like you enough
2) he doesn’t know if he likes you (and anyway you don’t want to be in a relationship with a guy who doesn’t know what he wants)

He’s Just Not That Into You actually SCREWED up my relationship. I read it and found all these things that showed me my boyfriend “just wasn’t into me” and that really wasn’t the case. He was actually considering asking to marry me (which is why he was acting weird) UNTIL I had “the talk” with him based on that book. I think that book is a PIECE OF CRAP and should be banned. haha. Don’t read it, people. :P

I agree with #9. A guy who really likes you will actively pursue you and won’t leave you wondering. Anyone who plays mind games with you is not worth your time.
