Hanging out my ass. You told me we’d hang out during the summer and all that
crap. In fact, you kept on bugging me about it during the final weeks of class.
And yet when i called you, you just brushed me off and haven’t been responding
to my messages. I can’t believe i’m still thinking about you.
confession n. A written or oral statement acknowledging guilt, made by one who has been accused or charged with an offense.
It is the confession, not the priest, that gives us absolution.
— Oscar Wilde
It's kind of like being in someone's head while they're praying or thinking about things they'd never say outloud.

Stop calling and leaving messages. Let this person make the next move. Maybe they have been very busy or perhaps lost interest. Let it go and enjoy your break with other friends.

agreed…I have friends like that too… they bug me to get together and then nothing…its weird sometimes, but nothing you can do about it… if they don’t want to hang out with you/be friendly, just drop them…life’s too short to waste on people like that!

I am someone like the person you described, I will admit it. The thing is I have really good intentions of calling back, and I really do want to hang out, but I am just soooo busy that sometimes a return phonecall is lost in the shuffle. I guess I really didn’t understand how hurtful it can be. Thanks for your post, I’m now going to call the person I’ve been putting off.

I’m like #3. Thanks for reminding me how things like that can hurt.
